How It Works in Three Steps

The first step is the only input Purohit needs from you: your date of birth, your time of birth and your place of birth. You can enter these on the free kundli tool on this site, or share them in a WhatsApp conversation with Purohit, typed or spoken as a voice note. Place matters as much as time, because the chart is cast for a specific point on the Earth's surface; Purohit resolves your town or city to its coordinates and time zone so the moment of birth is anchored correctly.

The second step happens inside Purohit's computation engine, and it is the part that separates a real kundli from a template. Using the Swiss Ephemeris with the Lahiri ayanamsa, the engine works out where every graha stood at your exact birth moment and where your lagna, the sign rising on the eastern horizon, fell. From that it builds your D1 rasi chart, then the divisional charts D2 through D60, including the navamsa (D9) and dasamsa (D10) that a traditional reading leans on most heavily. It calculates your Vimshottari dasha sequence from the Moon's nakshatra at birth, down to the antardasha level, and the panchang of your birth: tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, and the rahu kalam, gulika, yamaganda and abhijit windows for that day and place. None of this is looked up from a table of rashi paragraphs; every value is produced by the same deterministic calculation for your specific inputs.

The third step is where the AI comes in, and only here. Purohit Ji reads the computed chart back to you in plain language: what your lagna suggests, where your strongest and weakest placements are, which dasha you are in and what the classical texts say that period tends to bring, and whether any of the computed dosha verdicts apply to you. Then you ask follow-up questions, and every answer is grounded in the same chart. The AI's role is interpretation in words; the numbers it interprets are fixed before it says anything.

What Purohit Answers

A Purohit AI kundli is not a single printout but a computed structure you can keep asking about. Concretely, it includes the D1 rasi chart and the full set of divisional charts D2 through D60; Vimshottari mahadasha and antardasha periods with their dates; the panchang elements at your birth; computed and final verdicts for manglik dosha, kaal sarp dosha and guru chandal dosha, none of which the AI is allowed to re-derive on its own; a sade sati window with start, end and current phase, taken from an actual scan of Saturn's ingresses rather than an approximation; named yogas recognised in your chart; Shadbala, the six-fold planetary strength measure; Ashtakavarga bindu tables; KP sub-lords and significators, which Purohit uses when you ask an event-timing question; and the Jaimini chara karaka scheme with eight karakas including Rahu, your karakamsa, your Arudha Lagna and the other Arudha padas.

With that in place, the questions people ask are the questions a kundli is for. What does my lagna say about me. Which planets are strong in my chart and which are weak. When does my current mahadasha end and what comes next. Is there a manglik or kaal sarp verdict in my chart, and if so, what does it actually mean rather than what someone with a remedy to sell says it means. What does my navamsa suggest about marriage. Why a Deterministic Jyotish Engine Beats a Generic Chatbot

For a kundli specifically, the difference between computation and improvisation is not subtle. Your lagna depends on the exact sidereal time at your birth location, and it changes sign roughly every two hours. Every house placement in your chart follows from that one value. A divisional chart like the D60 moves through a full sign every half degree of the zodiac, so a small error in a planetary longitude puts a planet in a different varga sign entirely. Dasha dates depend on the precise fraction of the Moon's nakshatra that had elapsed at birth, and an error there shifts every mahadasha boundary for the rest of your life.

A general-purpose AI chatbot has none of this machinery. It has read a great deal of text about astrology, but reading about ephemerides is not the same as running one, and when you ask it for your chart it has no choice but to produce something that looks like a chart. It may state a lagna with complete confidence and be wrong. It may name a mahadasha with dates that were never calculated from anything. There is no way, from inside the conversation, to tell a computed value from an invented one, and that is precisely the problem.

Purohit draws a hard line here. The engine computes; the AI interprets; the AI is never the source of a planetary position, a house placement, a dasha date or a dosha verdict. Those are produced once, deterministically, from your birth details, and they would be identical if you computed them again tomorrow. Languages

Purohit Ji explains your kundli in English, Hindi, Kannada or Tamil, whichever you use to ask, and can reply as text or as a voice note. The chart underneath is the same regardless of language; what changes is the explanation. This matters for a kundli more than for most things, because the vocabulary of Jyotish (lagna, bhava, dasha, varga) sits more naturally in some languages than in others, and a reading you can follow in your own language is one you can actually reflect on and question.

A kundli is built from some of the most identifying data a person has: exact birth date, time and place. Purohit treats your conversation and your birth details as confidential. Your data is never sold, and it is not shared with third parties for their own purposes; it is processed only by vetted infrastructure providers needed to run the service.
