Built on a Classical Corpus, Run on a Computed Chart

Purohit Ji's answers are not improvised. They draw on a body of classical Jyotish texts, including Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Phaladeepika, Saravali and Jataka Parijata among others, the same texts a traditionally trained astrologer would study. Underneath that corpus sits a deterministic computation engine built on the Swiss Ephemeris with the Lahiri ayanamsa, the same planetary-position method used across professional Vedic astrology software. Your birth chart is calculated fresh from your date, time and place of birth, and every dasha date, dosha verdict and divisional chart Purohit Ji discusses with you comes from that calculation, not from a guess or a generic paragraph that could apply to any of the twelve rashis. Why We Built This

Vedic astrology is genuinely useful as a language for reflection and tradition, but two things get in the way of most people actually using it well. The first is access: a good astrologer's time is scarce and expensive, and rarely available in a caller's own language at midnight when the question is actually on their mind. The second is trust: a meaningful part of the astrology market survives by frightening people about doshas and remedies rather than by explaining a chart honestly. Purohit exists to fix both problems at once. It puts a real, computed Vedic chart reading within reach of anyone with a WhatsApp account, at low cost, in their own language, and it never has a remedy or a ritual to sell. A dosha verdict from Purohit comes from the actual planetary positions in your chart, the same way every time, whether the answer is reassuring or not.

What We Compute

A few examples of what sits behind a Purohit conversation: your full birth chart (D1) and divisional charts through D60, including navamsa (D9); Vimshottari dasha periods calculated from your Moon's nakshatra; panchang details for your birth or for any date and city; Shadbala and Ashtakavarga strength tables; manglik, kaal sarp and guru chandal dosha verdicts and a sade sati window, all computed rather than guessed; and ashtakoot or Porutham matching between two charts.
